NEW DELHI: An Air India Boeing 787 flying from Dubai to Kochi had to be diverted to Mumbai on Thursday following cabin pressurisation loss.
The Dreamliner (VT-ANE) operating as AI-934 landed safely in Mumbai.
“The captain had reported pressurisation loss,” officials said.
Comments from Air India have been sought and are awaited.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a probe into this latest in a series of snags being faced by Indian carriers in past few weeks. Two air safety officers have been rushed for a preliminary probe.
