In his interaction with a news portal, the actor narrated an incident that happened in 2019 when he went to watch his Telugu movie, ‘Dear Comrade’. The actor revealed that he wears a burqa and goes into theatres and sits amongst the audience and watches his films. He also jokingly added that if you see a burqa-clad tall person around you, it could probably be him.
Elaborating further, Vijay added that he saw a reaction where the audience was cheering for any confrontational scene but he wouldn’t give them a fight because it would go into dialogue. According to the actor, you just don’t give them that closure. Vijay also feels that the audience is looking at him differently than how he is looking at himself. I need to give them that moment to just let out and cheer and enjoy and not burden them with severe emotions, he told Galatta Plus.
‘Liger’ also stars Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and others in key roles. The film also has a special cameo by none other than the boxing legend Mike Tyson. It is slated to hit the theatres on August 25, 2022.
