Shocking Google Pixel 6a bug found!

Google Pixel 6a bug reportedly allows smartphone to get unlocked even with an unregistered fingerprint putting the owner’s privacy totally at risk.

Google Pixel 6a was launched in the Indian market just a few days ago and it seems that users have already started facing issues with the handsets. While the handset has received several positive reviews, some users have reported issues on its in-display fingerprint scanner. This Google Pixel 6a bug just cannot be ignored. The users have complained of the phone getting unlocked even with an unregistered fingerprint. If that’s the case then it’s a major concern because anyone can get access to any Pixel 6a smartphone. As shared by Beeboom in their YouTube Video, the Google Pixel 6a can be unlocked with thumbprints which are not even registered. In the video, the user showed that more than three people unlocked the device even without registering their fingerprints with the phone.

This issue has also been reported by popular tech YouTuber Geekyranjit. He also showcased how he was able to unlock the Pixel 6a with both thumbs while only one of his fingers was registered.

This Google Pixel 6a bug will probably require a software update to fix, but till then, it is likely compromised and those interested in the phone will have to wait for that to be announced. However, the company has so far not reacted to this issue at all and it would be more than interesting to see what it has to say about it.

The handset is likely to go on sale from July 28 i.e, tomorrow on Flipkart. The device is available for pre-order at the Google Store, Best Buy, and Amazon. The device comes in interesting color variants – sage green, chalk white, or charcoal black. The Pixel 6A is priced at $449.99 for the 128GB storage variant.
