    The world cup is a kind of tournament that actually has the utmost priority in the zone of cricket it is basically organized by the ICC International Cricket council where the teams from all around the World cup gets participated and showcase their skills to win the trophy but in the world cricket, there are few Cricketers who actually shine In this big pressure tournaments like World Cups but miserable in the bilateral series which happen between multiple cricket playing Nations. 

    These cricketers actually have the good mindset to hold their nerves in tricky situations. Still, due to some other reasons, they couldn’t utilize this tool in the general International fixtures of cricket. Below is a list of three cricketers who actually fall in this category of performance. 

#1. Munaf Patel (Ind).

    Munaf Patel is the name that comes at the first position in this weird list of successful players in the World Cup but failures in bilateral series. Patel was among the prime men who marked the victorious journey of the ICC 2011 World Cup. But today and even after the completion of the World Cup he got a sufficient amount of chances for the Indian team but couldn’t capitalize on any of them. That is why his name got so gloomy today that the majority of cricket fans don’t know too much about this unsung hero. 

#2. Nuwan Kulasekara (SL).

    In the ICC 2014 T20I World Cup, the Sri Lankan team was champion of the tournament and in the previous edition of the 2011 men’s T20 World Cup they were the runner ups in both tournaments where Sri Lanka achieved significant feats in this, Nuwan Kulasekara played a vital role as the leading fast bowler of the side. Along with Lasith Malinga, the duo of right-arm fast bowlers assured the magnificent dominance from the ball for which the Sri-Lankan team didn’t renowned in the world. 

#3. James Faulkner (Aus).

    The leading pace bowler of Australia at one point in time, James Faulkner, was the hero of the side in the 2015 world cup of 50 over where the Australian team grabbed the trophy for the fifth time. Faulkner has taken 18 wickets in the tournament which was so crucial for the side to get victory in their league stage matches. In the final match against New Zealand, James Faulkner bowled a fantastic spell of 3/36 (9-overs). 

   These figures played a vital role to crush the opposition on just a mediocre score of 183. In the second innings, Australia easily chased this small target with 7 wickets remaining in their hands.
